Still in the planning stages...

Happy Friday! I've been working on our wedding a little, 78 days until the big day! We have our invitations designed (I did them on CS5 *knocking dust of my shoulders*) and they're ready to be sent out for printing. We have deciding where we are having the wedding and we even chose what we wanted to serve. Colors, centerpieces, and favors have been decided. I will wait until our guest start to RSVP before I make the favors, that's what you're supposed to do, right? I've never had a wedding before. We set up our wedding site on weddingwire.com. I felt as though I could navigate through the site better than theknot.com. I also felt as though the site was more DIY friendly, rather than being focused on vendors. That's just my take. Anyhoo, I thought I'd share some of things that have inspired me in planning!

Disney Magic

It's been a while since I've posted anything from our Disney trips, hasn't it? We haven't gone nearly as much because of school and work, but we still go at least once a month. I haven't had the time (still) to go through memory cards and look at real photos, so here are a few fun instagrams in the mean time!

I really like the instagram app, but I've been starting to play around with other apps, too. I ran the sorcerer Mickey photo through a different app first and then applied another filter to it in instagram. Have a great Sundae!

Changes

Hmmm... Where did we leave off? Right, I was finishing up the semester and fretting about my future.

Well, last night I took a positive step in the right direction. It had nothing to do with my career and everything to do with my health. College has definitely taken its toll on my body. I treated myself like garbage for the last 3 years and have no one to blame but myself. I managed to get down to a healthy weight for about 6 months  (starting 1 month before I met Chris) and then I managed to let it all do to waist (I know, waste. I was trying to be punny). That was 2 1/2 years ago and I need to do it again.

I'm getting older; I'm not creaking yet, but my body doesn't bounce back the way it used to. It also doesn't like carrying around an extra 30 pounds. Shame on me (but I graduated with a 3.5!!!!). I was talking to a work bud yesterday and she suggested Weight Watchers. She's been doing the program for a few months now, and I can even see the results. I was hesitant about it, but last night I decided, "Why not? What have I got to lose? Right, weight. Do it, Jonesy."

My willpower only goes so far, thank goodness I ate the rest of the Ben & Jerry's on Monday night. I know I can do this. I'm only juggling work and pets now, not school, work, and pets.

(Dear Publix,
Please don't have a sale on Ben & Jerry's or Talenti for a long time.
                                              Love, Jenny's thunder thighs)

Is anyone else on a plan?
