I originally got the fairy back in March 2003. I had her touched up in August 2009. Then I added a few things around her in October 2009. This video is from October 2009. Yes, I was giggling. I giggled and laughed most of the time. I'm a tough cookie. Anyhoo, until next time!

Tattoos and teacups
We're all-a-buzz around here about tattoos lately. Chris and I have been talking about getting more for awhile now. We have decided what we want and where we want them, we just have to go get them! Chris is getting a camera and I'm getting a teacup! I'll post a picture or two of mine eventually but until then I found a video from my last tattoo.

I dream of Faeries
The last few days I've been re-reading my favorite play A Midsummer Night's Dream for Shakespeare Camp (class). This play is my favorite because of the faeries. I love them! I got a faerie tattoo before I even finished high school. You don't get a tattoo unless you absolutely love it, that might give you an idea of how much I love these beautiful creatures.
Back to Shakespeare, I fell asleep reading yesterday and the day before and both times drem't of faeries. Wednesday was awesome. I hung out with Titania in a canopy of lilacs, but yesterday.... I woke up from my dream because Peaseblossom was choking me to death! What the heck! There is no moral to this story except don't do whatever I did to Peaseblossom because it might hurt someone's feelings enough that you might die! Haha but really...

A few of my favorite faerie books are
Lady Coddington's Pressed Faerie Book by Terry Jones and Brian Froud
Good Faeries, Bad Faeries by Brian Froud
Faeries by Brian Froud
I own the last 2, but I have yet to get my hands on the Lady Coddington book. If you ever get to peek into the last one, you might find the faerie that inspired my first tattoo!
Also, check out my faerie treasury on Etsy and the next time you're out for a walk, mind the faerie circles!
